Day 7 | Practice 8 – “Today’s full contact situation was the Tight Red Zone. Princeton has been ranked near the top of NCAA FB in the Red Zone each of the past four seasons and one reason is the great work we get in Training Camp.”
Tidbit – Princeton was ranked the #1 undergraduate college in the country by Business Insider. READ MORE HERE. This #1 ranking is consistent among all unbiased media groups since I was a student here 30 years ago.
Misc. – Today is move out day. The players move from their camp dorm to their yearly dorm on the best campus in the country.
The Past & Present – Today’s feature includes Senior CB Markus Phox. Last year, Markus was a special teams standout and recorded 14 tackles as a backup CB. He added depth in the defensive backfield during the 2013 Ivy League Championship Season. After 3 years playing in a supporting role on special teams and at CB, Markus is poised and ready to be a focal point of Princeton’s ’16 defensive backfield.
Michael C. DiMarino,MD, played defensive back for Princeton and graduated in 1992. Dr. DiMarino is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He received his MD in 1998 from Hahnemann University School of Medicine (now Drexel University College of Medicine). Dr. DiMarino is currently the Director of the Internet Technology Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy Program Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Associate Director of the Jefferson Gastrointestinal fellowship at Inspira Health Network, Woodbury, NJ.
