Day 10 | Practice 12 & 13 –  We had 2 helmet only practices today that consisted of scheme review, some end of game situations, but our main point of emphasis was Special Teams. We spent 70 minutes of our combined practice time working on our different groups.

Tidbit – We had media and picture day after the first practice.  Always a fun time for the players!

Misc. – We will scrimmage tomorrow with stretch ending around 9:30.  It will be our first live action on our new turf.
Last night in the NFL, Seth DeValve ’15 added 2 catches for the Cleveland Browns, while DL Caraun Reid ’14 had 3 tackles, 2 TFLs for the Detroit Lions.

Quote of the Day | Coach Stephen Thomas – “It was good to have our players locked in and focused in preparation for the scrimmage tomorrow.”

The Past & PresentSenior Offensive Lineman Mason Darrow and ’14 OL Joe Goss.  Darrow played in all 10 games last season as a swing tackle that contributed to a second rank in total offense, as well as third in the Ivy in rushing and scoring.  Darrow is locked in to provide leadership to his young line heading into his final season.

In 2013, OL Joe Goss ’14 became Princeton’s first All-Ivy first –team OL since 2000.  In the 2013 Ivy League Championship season, Goss started all 10 games at center and helped his team to break Ivy League records in both scoring offense (43.7) and total offense (511.6).  A native of Massapequa, NY, Goss currently is a junior trader for SRS Investment Management in NYC.
