Day 14 | Practice 17 – “We had a physical practice this morning, focusing on backed up, short yardage, goal line and 4 minute situations.”

Tidbit – Associate Dean of the College Dov Weinryb Grohsgal addressed the team on academic support, and many of our other faculty fellows joined him with this presentation.

Past & Present – Today’s feature includes current Senior WR Trevor Osborne from Peoria, AZ and former DB Dr. Nicholas Avallone ’97.  Last season marked Osborne’s first opportunity as a full-time starter, he caught 24 passes for 306 yards and lead the team with 3 TD catches.  Trevor Osborne will be more than ready to fill the void that current Cleveland Brown Seth DeValve ’15 has left behind after graduation and being drafted in the fourth round.

Dr. Avallone ‘97, a practicing physician with St. Luke’s Orthopaedic Specialists, treats a wide variety of orthopaedic disorders and has sub-specialty training in sports medicine related injuries.  During his residency and fellowship he assisted in the care of numerous professional teams and athletes including the New York Jets, New York Islanders, New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and tennis players at the US Open, and he is currently team physician for Phillipsburg High School, Delaware Valley Regional High School, and Warren Hills High School.
