The Princeton football team moved up in both national FCS polls after improving to 4-0 with its 28-3 win over Lafayette Friday night.
The Tigers, one of three unbeaten teams in the FCS along with North Dakota State and Dartmouth, went to 16th in the AFCA coaches’ poll and 17th in the STATS FCS poll when they were announced Monday. Princeton moved up three spots in the coaches’ poll and four in the STATS poll after a week in which 11 ranked teams lost.
Princeton was not one of those. The Tigers defense and running game took care of the Leopards as Princeton stretched its winning streak to 14 straight.
