The Princeton football family took some time away from its Thanksgiving Day fun to celebrate the first NFL touchdown of one of its own.
Jesper Horsted, Princeton’s career leader in receptions and touchdown receptions, scored his first NFL TD when he hauled in an 18-yard catch from Mitchell Trubisky in the third quarter of the Chicago Bears’ 24-20 win over the Detroit Lions Thursday afternoon. Horsted became the second Princeton wide receiver-turned-tight end from the Class of 2019 to catch a touchdown pass this month, after Stephen Carlson did so with the Cleveland Browns against Pittsburgh two weeks ago.
