Less than a week out from the Tigers reporting to camp, another preseason All-America honor has rolled in for wide receiver Andrei Iosivas with his selection as a third-team Hero Sports FCS Preseason All-American.
Iosivas, the lone player representing the Ivy League on the list, earned third-team honors. The HERO Sports plaudit joins a second-team Preseason All-America honor by Phil Steele.
Iosivas was second team All-Ivy in 2021 after leading the Tigers with five touchdowns. He was second on the unit with 41 catches, 703 yards receiving and 17.1 yards per catch. He was third among Ivy receivers in yards, fourth in touchdowns and yards per reception, and ninth in receptions.
Iosivas is the definition of a multi-sport athlete. Last year, he was was a First-Team All-American in the heptathlon at the 2022 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships and he is a three-time Ivy League champion in the Heptathlon. In 2022 at NCAA Indoors, he set a NCAA record for fastest 60y run in the indoor heptathlon, clocking a 6.71.
