PRINCETON โ Charles W. Caldwell Jr. ’25 Head Coach of Footballย Bob Suraceย has announced the following hirings to his staff.
Brandon Cuevasย has been moved to offensive line coach while John Sibel has been hired as the running backs coach for Princeton.ย Nikki Leporeย has also been named Coordinator of Football Creative Content.
Cuevas in his third year at Princeton, having seen the Tigers go 17-3 overall including the 2021 Ivy League crown. Princeton has 16 All-Ivy selections in 2022 including seven First-Team honorees. The Tigers’ offense had the conference’s No. 1 passing offense and No. 2 scoring offense. During the 2021 campaign, Princeton had a program-record 10 first-team All-Ivy selections while the offense ranked first in the Ivy in scoring (33.4), second in passing offense (265.5), second in passing efficiency (147.0) and third in total offense (392.4).
Sibel comes to the Tigers from Lehigh where he spent time as the wide receivers coach. He also worked with the running backs during his first tenure with the Mountain Hawks in 2017-18.
Sibel was the running backs coach for Lehigh’s Patriot League championship season from 2017. That year, he worked with a stable of backs that was led by consensus All-American Dominick Bragalone, who led the FCS in total rushing yards and scoring and became the first Lehigh player to record three 1,000-yard rushing seasons. Bragalone gained 1,388 yards as a junior and rushed for 18 touchdowns. Behind Bragalone, Micco Brisker and Nana Amankwah-Ayeh combined to rush for eight touchdowns and nearly 500 yards.
Before coming to Princeton, LePore was in pursuit of her Masters degree in Sports Management at Missouri State University. She plans to graduate with her masters in May of this year. At Missouri State, she worked in the marketing department, but would also help with game production and graphics. Before Missouri State, she attended Montclair State University where she got her Bachelors in Sports Marketing and did content for the football team from 2016-2021.
